A winter holiday peppermint mocha milk ready for steaming into a cappuccino.

This makes 3 cups of peppermint mocha milk. Roughly enough for 8-10 cappuccinos.

  • cacao powder 2 tsp
  • oat milk 4 C or other non-dairy milk
  • peppermint extract 1 1/2 tsp
  • maple syrup 1 tbsp or other sweetener like honey
  1. Put a little oat milk into the a small container with the cacao powder (this makes it easier to mix and not get clumps).
  2. Mix it well
  3. Put this plus 1-2 C of the oat milk into a small sauce pan to heat (medium to medium-low)
  4. Dissolve maple syrup
  5. Add peppermint extract

No need to boil the oat milk. The heating just helps with dissolving everything together.

Place into a jar and put into the refrigerator to chill before steaming.
